Thomas Hewell Obituary
Tom dedicated his career to the insurance industry as a lifelong agent and executive, a role that took him across the country and around the world. He visited nearly every state-missing only New Mexico, which he always vowed to see one day.
Family was the center of Tom's life. He shared an enduring love with his wife, Helen Hewell (DeRosa), and was a devoted father to Jenny Frick (Bob) of Niles, Michigan; Tom Patrick Hewell III (Carolina) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Tim Hewell (Jennifer) of Stamford, Connecticut. He was the proud Pop-Pop of eight cherished grandchildren: Keagan, Ella, Lauren, Sam, Harper, Asher, Sienna, and Brisden.
Tom loved the simple joys of life-golfing with friends and family, and summers spent in Ocean City, New Jersey. His warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone he met. True to his spirit, Tom held on through one last Christmas celebration with his family, ensuring Helen was never alone. Just hours after family began to depart, he left this world, sending a sign of his presence and love that will never be forgotten.
He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Hewell Sr., and his sister, Donna Marie. Tom's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Emmaus, PA. A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Tom's name to Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, 1302 N. Sherman St., Allentown, PA 18109.
He will be deeply missed!

We are so saddened to hear of Tom´s passing. Though it´s been many years we still fondly remember our wonderful neighbor across the street in Wescosville. Such good memories! He was such a great guy. Our deepest condolences to Helen and the family. We know he will be greatly missed. God Bless you all.

My uncle was a man of wisdom, selflessness, and humor. He gave so much of himself to his family without ever asking for anything in return, and he left you feeling a little lighter, a little better every time you visited . He was loved by all whose paths he crossed, and his presence will be deeply missed by our family. Taken too soon, but never forgotten.
