Thomas James Hodge, age 72, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with his Lord May 6, 2025 surrounded by his wife and children. He was an army veteran. He was a proud member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for 50 years serving as a deacon and on part of the security team. James loved his motorcycle and being outdoors, especially fishing, working in the yard and feeding the wildlife.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Margaret Hodge and brother, Kenneth Wilburn. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Coral E. Hodge; son, Timothy (Christy) Hodge; daughters, Emily (Colin) Zimka and Rachel (Kevin) Hicks; grandchildren, Curt (Erica) Ingle, Cody (Casey) White, Kayla Zimka, Zakk Hodge, Courtney (Harmon) Ingle, Kailey (Elijah) Burleson, Hunter Hicks, and Ella Hicks; brother, Terry (Karen) Hodge, and several other family members. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, specifically the church sign. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with a 7:00 p.m. funeral service to follow with Pastor Benny Keck officiating. A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
