Thomas Houk Obituary
He was born in Elizabethtown to Charles Thomas "Todd" and Barbara Snyder Houk. Tommy was a truck driver for Key Oil and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sonora.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tim Houk; and wife, Shelia Joyce Salsman Houk.
He is survived by his loving granddaughter, Alicia Perkins of Elizabethtow; girlfriend of 10 years, Beverly Lacefield of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Charlotte (Tommy) Houk Masterson of Elizabethtown, Theresa (Todd) Houk Travis of Elizabethtown and Lisa Houk Jennings of New Albany, Indiana; great-granddaughter, "Pretty Girl" Maela Joyce Clark; Beverly's children, who were loved like his own, daughter, Paige Lacefield of Elizabethtown and son, Trenton Waymon of Campbellsville; granddaughters, Grace and Cici Waymon; nieces, Grace Jennings and Taylor Houk; nephews, Jason Masterson, Kevin Patterson, Travis Patterson and Eric Patterson.
The funeral is at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at First Baptist Church of Sonora with Bro. Tony Carson officiating. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the church.
