Thomas Jackson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Memorial Chapel - East Wenatchee on Feb. 20, 2026.
Thomas Jackson was born January 3, 1966, in Soap Lake, WA, to parents, Frederick and Carla Jackson. Tom passed on Thursday, Februry 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, laughter, and unwavering love for his family.

Tom devoted 30 yeas of service to the Washington State Department of Transportation, where he built a respected career marked by hard work, dependability, and pride serving his community. After retiring, he treasured the time he was able to spend with those he loved most.

On May 1985, Tom married the love of his life, Jo Parrot, beginning a life that spanned more than 40 years. Their life together was built on commitment, strength, and shared memories that will be cherished forever.

Tom was a proud devoted father to his daughters: Sheridan (Jared) Lingle and Charvelle Zamora, his godchildren: McKaylin Gromley and Gannon Gormley. He found immeasurable joy in being a "Papa" to Grace Lingle, Kali Lingle, and Ricardo Zamora. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he celebrated each of them with great pride and unconditional love.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jo Jackson; mother, Carla (Jackson) Yates; sisters: Tracy (Lincoln) Stroh; Teresa (Joe) Kulacoski, Sherry (Brad) Jolley; step-siblings: Brian Yates, Tonya Yates Standeart, and Heidi Reiswing and his brother in law, David Rosamond. He leaves many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends he chose as family who will forever remember his love and humor. He is preceded in death by his father, whose passing at a young age shaped Tom's reslience and strength.

Tom will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic and devotion to family but for his joyous spirit and infectious laughter. His smile could light up a room, and his laugh---full, genuine, and unforgettable--- brought comfort and happiness to everyone around him. He had a way of making others feel welcome and valued, and his love will continue to echo through the lives of those he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
