Thomas G. Jago

Thomas G. Jago, aged 45, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Hyde Park, New York, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 4, 1980, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Thomas was the son of David and Regina Jago. Thomas was a lifelong resident of the area, cherished for his adventurous spirit and love for outdoor activities such as riding his ATV and jet skiing.
Thomas attended BOCES for Heavy Equipment Operations and graduated from FDR High School. He dedicated his career to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, where he worked as an Environmental Aide, contributing significantly to the community through his role.
Thomas is survived by his parents, David G. and Regina DuPilka Jago of Hyde Park; his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Laurie Jago of Salt Point; his nieces, Faith and Sephyra; his nephew, Jonathan; as well as three aunts, Joanne DuPilka, LuAnn Seaman, Terri Messerich and four uncles, Jeff DuPilka, William Jago, David Seaman, and Robert Messerich and numerous cousins, all of whom will miss him deeply.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, New York, 12603.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 27, 2025 at 10am at Holy Trinity Church Poughkeepsie, New York.
