He graduated from Hamady High School in 1969, and continued his education at Mott Community College, where he earned an associate degree in 1971. An avid racing enthusiast, Tom loved everything from stock cars to sports cars. He took great pride in his classic 1937 Chevy and 1965 Impala, which then sparked his interest in Corvettes. After retirement, he fully embraced his love for farming, enjoying life's simple pleasures until his final day.
