Thomas David Karch, 76 of Plover, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Thomas was born on April 20, 1949 to the late Dan and Irene (Karpinski) Karch.
Thomas grew up in the area, graduated from Pacelli High School, the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a Bachelor's degree in computers, and NCTI with an Associate's Degree.
Thomas was strong in his Catholic faith, had a love for fishing, especially ice fishing with his Godson and nephew, Pierce. Other hobbies included hunting, watching the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks in true Wisconsin fashion, taking daily walks, and taking great pride with his garden. Thomas worked at UWSP as a computer operator and then as a custodian until he retired.
Thomas is survived by his siblings, Richard (Nancy) Karch of Whiting, Gerald (Dorothy) Karch of Stevens Point, Mary (Kurt) Zurawski of Custer, Elaine (Mike) Janz of Tomahawk, and Dennis (Lisa) Karch of Plover. Thomas is further survived by his nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Irene Karch.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas will take place at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, 800 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 AM until time of service in the Saint Faustina Room at the church. Burial to follow the mass at Guardian Angel Cemetery. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the Karch Family.
