Thomas J. Knoebber

Thomas J. Knoebber, 92, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Lexington Park Assisted Living Facility.
Tom was born on June 16, 1932, in Wamego, Kansas, the son of Frank and Marie Uhlrich Knoebber. On August 24, 1957, Tom married the love of his life, Louise Bolin.
Tom was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Barbershop Harmony Society. He was a man of many talents, including golf, music and sailing. Tom's artistic talent provided a lifelong successful business, B&B Sign Company with his older brother, Bill Knoebber. More than anything, Tom adored his family and his rich Catholic Faith. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.
Grateful to have shared Tom's life are his daughters, Jackie Rork (Tom), Terry Lyssy (Gabe), Gina Brophy (Pat) and Kelly Knoebber-Carr (David); grandchildren, Amanda Holmes (Brad), Aubrey Edds (Will), Ashley Brown, Jacob Lyssy (Cristina), Derek Lyssy (Whitney), Ryan Lyssy (Kate), Emily Carani (Tom), Nick Brophy, Paige Brophy, Madison Carr and Megan Carr; 19 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bill Knoebber. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, Bob and Jack Knoebber, sister, Betty Hund and twin sister, Mary Volz.
Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th Street, Topeka KS 66614, where rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Committal service will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Wamego, Kansas.
