With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Thomas LaRosa, known to many as Buddy, on December 12th, 2025. Born in Manhattan, New York, on October 6, 1949, to Nathaniel and Eva LaRosa, Thomas was an adventurous soul who embraced life passionately. He was a man of ambition and a compassionate spirit, whose generosity knew no bounds.

Thomas moved from New York to Winchendon, Massachusetts, where he became a cherished pillar of the community. He was married to the love of his life, Terry, on December 1, 1973, and together they built a beautiful life steeped in love and shared experiences. Thomas’s professional life was marked by a successful career at M. Kamenstein, a spice company, where he served as the Director of Operations until his retirement in 2007. With his wife, he also owned and operated a beloved ice cream business in their small town called TJ’s Ice Cream Parlor. Ambitious in every endeavor, he proved himself a capable and respected leader.

Known for his adventurous spirit, Thomas found joy in traveling, golfing, and watching football. But what mattered most to him was spending time with his family and friends. His compassionate nature extended to all who knew him, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Terry LaRosa, their children, Tracy (Robert Daniels) Black, Natalie Lemieux, and Thomas LaRosa Jr., and their grandchildren Justin (Katie) Black, Meghan (Tim) Walsh, Elise (James) Wright, Haley Lemieux, Steven (Dean Hodson) Lemieux, and Ethan LaRosa. His legacy continues to thrive in his great-grandchildren, Mila, Quinten, Kennedy, and Thomas. He also leaves many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Eva LaRosa, and his loving brothers Salvatore and Frank LaRosa.

Friends and family are invited to share memories and upload photos to the memorial page. Thomas's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will forever be a beacon of love, compassion, and generosity.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 3 p.m. in the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon, MA.
