Guilford - Thomas O. Levensalor, 72, a man of boundless kindness and unwavering love, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center after a brief illness. Born on October 4, 1952, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Thomas and Doreen Levensalor, Tom lived a life defined by dedication-to his family, his community, and the pursuit of helping others.
Tom's greatest accomplishment, as he often said with a warm, gentle smile, was marrying the love of his life, Roxanne, on July 4, 2024. Though their time together was short, it was filled with profound happiness, a testament to the deep bond they shared. Roxanne brought light to his final chapter, and their love will endure as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Roxanne, and a cherished family that spans generations. He leaves behind his brother, Toby Levensalor and wife, Debbie; his son, Anthony Levensalor and wife, Elizabeth; his daughter, Bobbie Jo McGinnis and husband, Eric; his stepson, Karl Stutzman; and his stepdaughter, Angela Ayala and husband, Luis. His legacy lives on in his beloved grandchildren: Dylan Levensalor, Casper McGinnis, Devlin McGinnis, Emilee Triolo, Antonio Ayala, Enrico Ayala, Natalie Stutzman, Olivia Stutzman, and Bree Stutzman. He is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, and his uncle and best friend, Laurence Levensalor.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Doreen Levensalor; his beloved sister, Tina Levensalor; and his brothers, Terry Levensalor and Tim Levensalor.
A proud graduate of Foxcroft Academy's Class of 1970, Tom went on to earn a Master's Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. His career was a remarkable tapestry of service: he served as a Supply Sergeant and Unit Armorer with the New Hampshire National Guard, a Sheriff Deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, and a Fire Fighter/EMT with the City of Manchester New Hampshire Fire Department. Later, he shared his wisdom as a teacher at Guilford and Milo High School, touching countless lives with his knowledge and compassion.
Tom's passions reflected his creative and generous spirit. An avid carpenter and woodworker, he crafted beauty with his hands. His nature paintings captured the serenity he found in the world around him, and his love for online gaming brought him closer to family and friends, even across distances. Known for his warm, gentle smile and unwavering loyalty, Tom was a pillar of strength and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met.
A private Celebration of Life will be held on March 6, 2025, at 2 PM at the home of Thomas and Roxanne in Guilford. Details will be shared with close family and friends.
As we bid farewell to Tom, we take comfort in the words of Scripture: "Well done, good and faithful servant enter into the joy of your Lord" (Matthew 25:21). May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave, and may his soul find everlasting joy in the presence of God.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local Fire Department in memory of Tom's dedicated years of service to the Manchester Fire Department, where he and his fellow firefighters worked tirelessly to save countless lives. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
