Mr. Thomas Brandt "Tadd" Lilly Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Thomas "Tadd" Brandt Lilly, Jr., who entered into eternal rest on October 26, 2025 at the age of 33 following a brutal act of gun violence at a local gas station in North Augusta, South Carolina. Taken far too soon, he was tragically in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Those who knew Tadd described him as being a loyal friend and lovable person who brought a smile to everyone he met. You couldn't help but like him. He loved listening to music, especially rap. More than anything, he loved his son and was proud to be his dad.
In recent months, Tadd had turned his life around and was proud to have celebrated six months of sobriety - a milestone that reflected his desire for a better future.
Left to cherish his memory along with his son Zachary "Thomas" Lilly are his brothers, Michael Blocker and Cameron Humphrey (Alison); Aunt Dana Turner (Bill), Uncle Don Humphrey, and Aunt Rachel Guilfoyle; as well as numerous cousins, and his loving fiancé Kristy Taylor. Tadd was loved by all and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Preceding Tadd in death were his parents Darlene Humphrey Blocker and Thomas Brandt Lilly, Sr., as well as his maternal grandparents, Brenda and Donnie Humphrey.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10:30 until 11 AM at the University Parkway Church of God, 1761 University Parkway, Aiken SC 29801. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 o'clock in the church sanctuary. Pastor Henry Shaffer will officiate.
