Mr. Thomas Fletcher Lowe, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, four days shy of his 66th birthday, at his residence surrounded by his family.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Nathanial Monroe Lowe and the late Inez Smith Lowe Robertson. Thomas was a salesman in the HVAC industry and also owned and operated his own business, Fireplace by Design. He attended Integrity Community Church, was an avid Duke basketball fan, and loved to play golf and the guitar.
Mr. Lowe is survived by his two sons, Jacob Lowe and his wife, Brianna, and Chris Lowe; three grandchildren, Jackson Lowe, Madilyn Lowe and Carter Lowe; former wife, Jackie Lowe; three sisters, Diann Johnson, Wanda Howell and Sherry Vogler; a brother, Leonard Lowe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ted Wilkins. Private family interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
