TJ is survived by his loving parents, Thomas R. Luper Sr. and Daune Celeste Luper; Caitlin, Paolo, Naomi, and Lynnly Holgado; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
Known for his childlike spirit and strong work ethic, TJ took pride in his work, especially when it came to working on swimming pool demolition and repair. He was a big, strong guy who didn't mind getting dirty and enjoyed being hands-on.
TJ's favorite memories were made on family vacations, and fun family outings, like ski trips, cruises, fishing trips, Laser Tag, car racing games, and paintball. He enjoyed Country and Western dancing and spending time with family. He also had a real love for music. He enjoyed writing songs, playing his guitar and his trumpet. One of his favorite places to hang out and relax with friends was a small local bar in Spring Branch.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Woodlawn Funeral Chapel, followed by interment at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery. A reception with family and friends will follow from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Woodlawn Banquet Hall.
