Mr. Thomas Peter Mader

Thomas Peter Mader, 78, died December 11, 2008 at Martin Memorial Hospital South. Born in Chicago, IL he moved to Hobe Sound in 2002 coming from Boca Raton. He was a retired meat broker and President of United Brokers. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict Era. He was of the Roman Catholic faith; a member and usher at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound. He volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Shop and Wheels on Meals. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rae Mader; children, Nancy (Edward); Susan (William); Barbara; James (Michelle); John (Jessica); brother, Gerard; sister, Bernadette; 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert and sisters, Mary Jane and Therese. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boys & Girls Club of Martin County, 11500 SE Lares Ave., Hobe Sound, FL 33455. SERVICES: A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 2 PM to 4 PM, Monday, December 15, 2008 with a Prayer Service at 4 PM at Forest Hills Young and Prill Chapel in Stuart. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound.
