Thomas Majeske Obituary
Lansing, MI
Passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the age of 81. Born December 14, 1944 to Arthur and Eva (Maillette) Majeske in Bay City, Michigan. Tom honorably served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, Tom went to work for the Michigan State Police, retiring as a First Lieutenant. Tom loved the outdoors where he could camp and fish. He enjoyed traveling to the family cabin on McCollum Lake where he and his father would hunt. Crystal Lake was a favorite place of his and he spent many fun summer days on the water. Tom was known for giving people a hard time and he thoroughly enjoyed watching U of M Football and Court TV shows. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who remember him. Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Karen Majeske; and the mother of his children, Joann Garland.
Surviving are his wife, Melissa Houghton-Majeske; children, Judy Suda, Brian Majeske, Mark Majeske; step-children, Sam and Tyler; siblings, Ron (Annette) Majeske of Northville, Jan Smith of Midland, Sue Majeske of Bay City; former wife, Raini Majeske as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
