Thomas Hewitt Mangham Jr. was born on November 12, 1954, and passed from this life on October 29, 2025.
Thomas was a man of many talents and interests that enriched not only his own life but also the lives of those he worked with and the family and friends who loved him. His sharp intellect and natural gift for problem-solving served him well in his career as a mechanical engineer, there wasn't much he couldn't fix.
In his downtime, Thomas found peace and joy at the lake, fishing pole in hand. Whether the fish were biting or not, he cherished the calm and contentment of being near the water. Thomas also loved being in the woods during hunting season, enjoying the quiet moments and the steady patience that came with each day outdoors.
Thomas loved anything that combined speed and machinery. He and his son shared many great times watching sprint car races, and he also enjoyed the thrill of local tractor pulls and mud bogs.
With his outgoing nature, quick wit, and endless supply of good stories, Thomas made friends easily wherever he went. He will be remembered as a talented, kind-hearted man who brought laughter, skill, and spirit to every part of his life.
He is survived by his son, Jason Mangham; grandchildren, Evan and Madison Mangham; brother, Troy Mangham and wife Joann; sisters, Maria Wright-Geimer, Bert Thompson, Cynthia Bergamini and husband Paul, and Jennifer Behrens and husband Tony; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Hewitt Mangham and Helen Margaret Kennedy, and his brother, Richard Mangham, and wife, Linda.
