Thomas J. Marcus, 82, a beloved husband, dedicated family man, and lifelong Cleveland sports enthusiast passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025. He was born on November 28, 1942, in Sharon, PA to the late Joseph and Helen Marcus.Tom retired as a product manager at TRW in Cleveland, Ohio and then continued his career for another 10 years with Hendrickson. He was well-respected in his professional life and cherished by those who worked alongside him.
A resident of North Canton, Ohio, Thomas was an ardent fan of his hometown teams, especially the Indians, and his warmth and sense of humor drew people together, whether it was during a game day gathering or a quiet evening spent with family. Thomas shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patricia. Their shared love for travel took them on many memorable adventures, particularly to the breathtaking landscapes of the American Southwest, a place that captivated their hearts and became a canvas for their cherished memories. As a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish, Thomas was deeply connected to his community and devoted to his faith.
In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by his daughter Brenda Triner (Chris), son Jeffery Marcus (Kathleen), grandchildren Andrew and Caroline Triner, and Kyle and Addie Marcus, and brother Terry Marcus (Shirley).
A Mass of Christian Burial service for Thomas will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday February 18, 2025 at Little Flower Catholic Parish 2040 Diamond St. NE Canton, OH 44721 with Fr. Robert Lanterman officiating. Visitation 10:00 am until service time at the church. Interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers consider a donation in Thomas' name to Little Flower Catholic Parish. Sign the online Guest Book at reedfuneralhome.com.
