Thomas (Tom) Michael McBride, Sr. aged 83, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born in Dallas TX and moved to Wisconsin where he attended Menomonee Falls high school. In 1965 he married his beloved wife Jacqueline (nee Jones) and was a devoted husband for nearly 60 years.
Following high school, Tom served in the 32nd division of the National Guard then worked as an insurance underwriter until retirement. He served the Pewaukee area on the Volunteer Fire Department alongside his wife Jackie for many years.
Upon retirement, Tom & Jackie owned McBride's Hilltop Pub in Waukesha, WI for 13 years.
In his free time, Tom enjoyed collecting comic books & stamps, building model train sets and spending time with his friends at the Elks Lodge. He also enjoyed a cold martini by his swimming pool with his family and neighbors.
Tom is survived by his wife Jackie, daughter Kelly, sons, Patrick & Tom Jr. (Julie) and grandchildren, Austin & Natalie. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Thomas & Irene (nee Sager).
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, from 1:00 -3:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 West Bluemound Road in Waukesha. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM.
