Thomas McCoy Obituary
Thomas McCoy, 68, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Born on July 22, 1955, in Northfield, Ohio. Tom was a 1973 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School.
He was a classic car enthusiast, loved classic rock and was a loving father, companion and grandfather.
Tom, also known by many as “Tommy”, retired from Chrysler in 2013 after 40 years. He worked at the Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant as a sheet metal skilled tradesman, a craft he loved. Tom proudly served as a UAW Local #122 Safety Representative during his auto career.
He is survived by his children Lindsay (George) Poulos and Courtney McCoy; granddaughter Allison Poulos; siblings, Barbara (Tom) O’Dear, Linda (Gary) Cortesi, Tim (Barb) McCoy, Patty (Al) Brubaker, his companion Annette Breiding and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ruth; brother, Lawrence “Larry”.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday March 11, at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 215 Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
