Thomas was born on October 6th, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY.
Thomas was a proud Navy Veteran and had a career as a mechanic for the City of NY.
He married his beloved wife, Deborah, on June 5, 1982. Together they raised a family and built a life in his childhood home in Valley Stream, NY.
Thomas was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his uncanny ability to build and fix almost anything, his love of fishing, his passion for his sports teams and being his grandchildren's biggest fan.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, his daughters Caitlin and Devon, his grandchildren, Jackson and Ryan and his son in law, Mike.
He is predeceased in death by his sister, Alice, his parents, Thomas and Alberta McNally and Father in Law, Edward Hoyt.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 23rd from 2-6pm at Franklin Funeral home in Franklin Square, NY.
A Mass will be held Monday, March 24th, at 10:30am at St. Catherine of Sienna in Franklin Square.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Thomas' memory.
