Beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. Age 83 years. Son of the late Daniel and Sue Miller, Thomas was born December 31, 1942, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1960 Graduate of Saginaw High School. He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1965 and was a member of American Legion Post # 439. Tom married the love of his life, Diane S. Cline on October 22, 1966, at the First Methodist Church in Alma, Michigan. He retired from General Motors in 1994 and volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital for six years. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #82, Voiture 600 of the 40/08. Tom belonged to Big Brothers for 11 years. He loved music and played Saxophone in the Saginaw Area Concert Band for 23 years and was past President for 12 years. He was a former member of State Street Methodist Church. Tom enjoyed Michigan State Football, Michigan State Basketball, playing cards, word find puzzles, and going to the casino. The residents of Lakeview Estates will always affectionately remember Tom as "The Mayor".
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife Diane Miller; his son Scott and Jessica Miller, Plainwell, Michigan; eight grandchildren, Katelyn McEown, Morgann Reffett, Dakota Reffett, Gabrielle Reffett, Brady Peters, Henry Miller, Elle Miller and Flynn Miller; six great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Miller, Texas; brothers-in-law, David and Mary Cline, South Carolina; Gary Cline, Florida; sister-in-law, Marianne Miller, Saginaw; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Reffett; his parents, Daniel and Sue Miller; sister, Shirley Jean Stoneburner; brothers, Dale, Richard, Ronald and Dennis Miller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Almond and Elizabeth Cline and a special friend Daniel Gwirtz.
The family would like to thank the Covenant at Home Hospice for their wonderful care and support during this time.
Honoring Mr. Miller's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty) Saginaw, Michigan. Chaplain Viola Gonzalez will officiate with Military Services conducted by American Legion Post #439 and U.S. Air Force. Private interment will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. Friends may visit at the funeral home, where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
