Thomas Vander Moon

Thomas Vander Moon, age 64, of Standing Stone, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, after a long and courageous battle with COPD and a brief illness.

Tom was born in Johnson City, NY, on July 11, 1961, a beloved son of the late Vander Norman “Tom” and Sandra Jo Harvey Moon. He was a dedicated businessman, owning a general contracting business specializing in concrete and roofing.

Tom has a passion for hunting, fishing, making wine, and maple syrup. He loved spending quality time with his family, especially his son, Thomas. He also enjoyed his loyal furry companions over the years.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas C. Moon and Marissa Paulish, of Towanda, PA; his daughter Evelyn Jo Moon, and his grandchildren, Cameron Blake, Thomas, and Ivy. He is also survived by his siblings: John and KC Darrah, Gerald and Tina Moon, and Doris and Robert Krulikowski.

A Memorial Service and luncheon will be held on August 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at 35 Spalding Hill Road, Troy, PA 16947.
