Thomas Ray Moore was born November 4, 1955 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the son of Bill W. Moore and Mary M. (Allen) Moore. He grew up with his brothers, Daryl, Lyle, and Rob in Searsboro, Iowa attending grade school and in 1969, the family moved to Kent, Iowa where he went to high school in Creston. After high school, Tom worked for various area farmers, spending quite a bit of time with Butch Cordell and Wayne Wilson. He later worked for Dalton Ag and later for Knabe Trucking hauling livestock. Tom was blessed with six children, LeRoy, Trisha, Justin, Robin, Dillon and Wyatt.
Tom grew up loving his horses and was a active with the Lenox Stock and Saddle Club. During the Lenox Rodeo, he could be found running the out-gate. He enjoyed traveling to area rodeo's to watch his grandson Trey ride bulls and ranch broncos. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and as the years went by he loved going to horse sales. Tom was a 'Cowboy's... Cowboy!'
Left to cherish Tom's memory are his six children, LeRoy Moore and wife Fallon of Bedford, Iowa; Trisha Hill of Bedford, Iowa; Justin Moore and wife Jenni of Ravenwood, Missouri; Robin Wilmarth and husband Brian of Bedford, Iowa; Dillon Moore and wife Bailey of Creston, Iowa; and Wyatt Moore and wife Kendyl of Siam, Iowa and several grandchildren; three brothers, Daryl Moore and wife Susan of Clarinda, Iowa; Lyle Moore and wife Leanne of Lewistown, Montana; and Rob Moore of Billings, Montana; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We will forever hold Tom's memory in our hearts.
May he be at peace in God's loving care.
