Thomas Michael Morgan, beloved infant son of Austin and Kari Morgan, passed into the arms of Jesus on August 2, 2025, at just four months old. Born in Ankara, Turkey, Thomas brought immense joy to all who knew him, and his brief life was a gift filled with warmth, light, and love.
Though his time on earth was short, Thomas was always smiling, a precious light in his family's life. He loved to cuddle up with his mother in his favorite soft blankets and delighted in playful moments with his older brother. His gentle coos shared with his sister brought joy and comfort to those around him. He attended Çankaya Baptist Church with his family, where he was deeply loved by his church community. He was also loved by cherished friends in Türkiye (Turkey) and in the United States.
Thomas is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, John Ball.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Austin and Kari Morgan; sister, Charlotte; brother, John; grandparents, Steve and Kathy Wolfe, and Andrew and Amy Morgan; great-grandparents, John and Elizabeth Wolfe, Arlene Ball, Basel and Rebecca Mixon, and Janet Thomas; uncles, Aaron Morgan and Scott Wolfe (Sarah Elizabeth); aunts, Lorie Rosseau (Brian) and Lindsey Ile (Cris); and cousins, Daniel, Eliana, David, and Eden.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Lizella Baptist Church, with Pastors Chris Minton, Andy Johnson, and Corey Shepherd officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Though Thomas was with us for only a short time, his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved him.
