Thomas Edward Morris Sr., 82, of Corpus Christi, TX went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 4th, 2024. He was a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Upland, Pennsylvania on January 31, 1942 to Bernard and Elizabeth Morris. Tom graduated from Chichester High School in 1959. At 17 years old he joined the United States Army and was enlisted from 1959-1962. He was ranked E5 and was stationed in Ankara, Turkey. Tom also was in the United States Army Reserves. He went on to study accounting at Widener University and graduated from there in 1974.
He worked at numerous jobs over the years, including Sunroc, Boeing, Sun Oil Company, Koch Refinery, and Century 21 Real Estate. He was a member at Arlington Heights Church of Christ.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Elizabeth Morris.Tom is survived by his wife Luanne Morris of 27 years, his children Tom Morris Jr., John (Frankie) Morris , Jennifer Bero, Billy (Taylor) Ashby, Robby (Bonnie) Ashby and Kara (Cory) Baker and his grandchildren, Jette, Jonah, Aspen, Riggs, Darcy, Deryn, Savannah, Brody, Tanner, Ainsley, Charlie, William, Oliver, Owen, and Everett.
Tom was a loving, generous, hardworking man with a great sense of humor. Tom enjoyed cooking, gardening, going out to eat, watching TV, and spending time with his family. He was a big jokester and loved to make everyone laugh. He was very involved with Boy Scouts as an adult leader for Troop 52. His favorite holiday was Christmas and he loved decorating his house and wearing Christmas t-shirts. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privledge of knowing him.
