Funeral services for Mr. Thomas P. "Tommy" Morris will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Bassfield Cemetery. The Reverend Roland McMillan will officiate. Mr. Morris, age 74, entered into the eternal rest of his Lord late Sunday evening, May 4, 2025, at his residence in Collins. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00AM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
Tommy was born on July 2, 1950, in Jackson, Mississippi to Robert and Doris Garraway Morris. Mr. Morris, a resident of Collins, had worked as an accountant for Sanderson Farms for several years. He will be remembered as one who had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially liked to go turkey hunting. In addition, he had been an avid bowler in his earlier years. Mr. Morris was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Robert "Bob" and Doris Morris, and his sister, Diane McPhail.
