He was born October 8th, 1980, in Newark, Delaware, to Thomas Morrison and Patricia Hurlock.
Thomas had a lifelong love for comics, comic book movies, and video games, and especially cherished taking his sons to the movies. In 2007, he joined the Masonic Lodge and is a Past Master of Union Lodge #7 and Past Grand Chaplain of the State of Delaware. He was also a former pastor of the United Methodist Church, where he served faithfully for eight years. Proud of his Scottish heritage, Thomas enjoyed the traditions of the Scottish Highland Games. He had a unique sense of humor and was a devoted fan of Star Wars and Doctor Who. Thomas had a lifelong love of helping others and had been employed by Polytech High School, Caesar Rodney School District, and most currently, Capital School District. In addition to his ministry, he was honored to officiate both funerals and weddings, supporting families through life's most meaningful moments.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Morrison, and his brother, Robert Morrison.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Patricia Hurlock-Morrison of Dover, DE; his loving wife, Kimberly Morrison of Dover, DE; his sons, Thomas E. Morrison Jr of Dover, DE, and James N. Morrison of Dover, DE; his sister, Heather A. Morrison of Magnolia, DE; his nieces, Christina Morrison and Mary Morrison; his nephews, Isaac Elkins and Logan Lynch; and his extended family, Kenneth and Donna Clark, and Kenny and Keith Clark and their families.
A viewing will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, September 15th, 2025, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road.
Masonic service will be held at 7:00pm, Monday, September 15th, 2025, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road.
Funeral services will be held at 7:15pm, Monday, September 15th, 2025, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road.
Interment will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, 6486 Bay Road, Frederica, Delaware.
