Thomas Wade Netherton, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years old.
Born on March 26, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Margaret Curry Netherton and Charles Richard Netherton, Tom spent much of his life raising his family in Crestwood, KY. He was a dedicated member of the Boy Scouts of America, where he and his sons were deeply involved. Over the years, Tom served in various roles, offering his guidance and support to the Cub Scout Pack, an experience that became a lasting part of his legacy.
For over three decades, Tom owned and operated his own printing company, a venture that he was proud to build from the ground up. After retiring, he moved to Southern Indiana, where he found a new passion as a writer and author. Tom published several books that reflected his creative spirit and love for storytelling.
Tom is survived by his children, Laura, Chuck, and David; his daughters-in-law, Lauri and Eve; his grandchildren, Alysha, Steven, Nick, Alexandra, and Payton; his great grandchildren, Rhonin, Ember, and Artemis; and countless family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his wife, Toni Netherton; and his two brothers; Ben and Charlie.
A visitation will be held at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY, on March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life ceremony at 1:00 PM.
Tom's family and friends will forever remember his warmth, kindness, and the lasting impact he made on those lucky enough to know him.

I really do not know what to type to be honest. The Nethertons and Mr. Netherton were my family growing up and all the Scouts in Troop 167. I often think of everyone and wonder how they are, but as in life we all grow up and go out separate ways, but I still try and stay up with everyone even tho I'm not around. I know he's home with our Father in Heaven and Happy and smiling down on everyone Whole and Awesome while we are sad, but we need to rechoice for he is with our Father, but I do know we all were see him again one day! I Love you Chuck and Family, Laura and Family, David and Family.....
