Thomas Edward Nicholson

Thomas Edward Nicholson, 76, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and friends. Born July 17, 1948 in Ohio, he was the son of the late Marvin L. Barr and Claire McGeary Nicholson.
Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, brother and friend. He also was a member of Christ Servant Lutheran Church.
He served with the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam from 1969-1970 in the US Army. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Military Order of Purple Heart, The American Legion, Patriot Guard (providing comfort and escort for Veteran funerals) and Collie Rescue of the Carolinas. Thomas received the following medals, Purple Heart, Bronze Star with V for Valor, Army Commendation Medal with V for Valor, Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Meritorious Unit Citation, Vietnam Campaign Medal, New York State Conspicuous Service Medal with four stars, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, US Defense Medal, Arny Valorous Unit Citation, 25th Infantry Division and road with the combat Veteran Motorcycle Association.
He married the love of his life at the age of 71 for the first time, Ginger P. Nicholson.
He is also survived by his siblings, Charles Nicholson (Cynthia), Gary Nicholson, Cathy McGee (Tom) and Carolyn Tito.
Memorial Services will be held 12 Noon, May 24, 2025 at Christ The Servant Lutheran Church, 2105 Hwy 501 Conway, SC 29526 with Pastor Rob Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends after the Memorial Service at the church.
