THOMAS DENNIS O'CONNOR

"TD" passed peacefully into the loving arms of God on the morning of August 26, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved father of Erin Brazil (Chad) and Casey O'Connor (Jackie); the proud grandfather of Reagan; and the cherished son of the late Thomas Francis O'Connor and Mary Mooney-O'Connor of Lyndhurst.

TD was a man rooted in faith and family. He made his sacraments at St. Paschal Baylon Church, where his parents were devoted members, and carried those values of faith and loyalty with him his entire life.

TD began his career with strong hands and a tireless work ethic at Warner & Swasey in Cleveland. But his greatest pride came when, alongside his godfather, the late Robert D. Mooney Sr., he opened the Dennis Sinclair Station on Chagrin Boulevard. That small venture grew into Mooney & Son's Towing.

To know TD was to know a man of quiet strength, boisterous voice, and an even bigger heart. He was never too busy for a phone call, never too tired to show up, and never shy to share a story or his favorite phrase, "What can I not say…" His humor and voice carried, and his presence made people feel at ease. More than anything, TD understood that showing up for others - standing by your side no matter what - leaves a lasting impact.

He loved family above all else - his children, his granddaughter, his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Throughout his later years, he was cared for with devotion by his cousin and brother figure, Robert D. Mooney Jr, whose loyalty matched TD's own.

May his memory be eternal, and may the blessing of his love, loyalty, and laughter live on in all who were fortunate enough to call him family or friend. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to the Fr. Caddy Scholarship Fund c/o St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 6850 Mayfield Rd., Gates Mills, OH 44040.

Funeral Mass Saturday, August 30, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 a.m.

The family will receive friends at McMAHON-COYNE VITANTONIO FUNERAL HOME 38001 EUCLID AVE, WILLOUGHBY OH 44094 FRIDAY, AUGUST 29 FROM 5 TO 8 P.M.
