Thomas Raymond Old, woke up in the arms of the angels on Friday April 11, 2025 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He was born on March 17, 2025 and has left a small light for us to navigate this darkness.
Little Tommy was going to do big things in this world. He was his parent's greatest gift and will be missed by so many.
Tommy is now an angel to his mother, McKenzie Groome and his father, Dylan Old of Myrtle Beach; his paternal grandparents, Kevin & Kristy Old; maternal grandparents, John Groome & Stacee Higbe of Columbia, SC; paternal grandmother, Julie Knight (Dale); as well as many he did not know but loved him already.
A Celebration of Tommy's life will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025 at 2:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends immediately following the service at 400 Old South Circle, Murrells inlet, SC 29576.
The family wishes to acknowledge with heartfelt appreciation, the kindness, care and comfort they have received during this difficult time. To the staff of MUSC Children's Hospital, thank you all so much for helping to take care of Tommy and his family. May God Bless you all.
