William Moore Obituary
Born July 19, 1957, in Greenville, South Carolina, to Bill and Mary Moore, James lived life with passion, heart, and a need for speed. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, he was known for his love of racing, his generous spirit, and his talent for telling a story that somehow got better every time it was told. James had a way of making people feel instantly at home-and if you stayed long enough, you probably left laughing.
James is survived by his loving wife, Susan Diane Moore; his daughter, Vickie Magnuson; his grandchildren, Holly Montgomery (James Cramer), Joshua Moore, and Jacob Moore; and his great-grandchildren, Leila Montgomery, Talin Cramer, and Ariella Moore. He was also a cherished brother and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua S. Moore.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. James lived life in the fast lane, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy that will never slow down.
