Thomas Neil "Tom" Osborne, 62 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, March 3, 2023. Tom was born on May 21, 1960, at Big Stone Gap, VA and was a son of the late Hezekiah Neil Osborne and Elizabeth Emaline Witt Osborne.



Tom was a 1978 graduate of Giles High School, he received his B.A. Degree in Philosophy at Emory and Henry College, he received his Juris Doctorate at the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, in 1985. He was a Navel Veteran working as a Class A, Naval Intelligence specialist. Next, Tom worked as a magistrate for the Supreme Court of Virginia, in the 27th Judicial District for 25 years. Tom was an avid sports fan, and will be missed by his family, friends and his best furry friend, Ben.



He is survived by 2 brothers, William J. "Jeff" Osborne (Ann) of Clifton Forge, Phillip J. "Josh" (Beth K.) Osborne of Pearisburg, nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Erin, Cassie, Jacob, Ciara, Jack and great nephew, Casyn and 2 great nieces, Jordynn and Jaidynn.



A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with Pastor Mike Mitchener officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service from 1 – 2 at the funeral chapel. Online condolences can be sent to the family at givensfuneralhome.com.
