Stephen Hess Obituary
Stephen loved being active and spending time outdoors. He cherished playing tennis with the kids, skiing, boating on the weekends, and golfing whenever he could. No matter the activity, what mattered most to him was sharing those moments with the people he loved. His laughter, encouragement, and steady presence made everyday moments feel special.
He was proud of his education and dedication to his work. Stephen graduated from Countryside High School in 1987, earned his degree from Samford University in 1992, and went on to graduate from Life Chiropractic College in 1996.
Stephen is survived by his beloved children: Leo, Ethan, Stevie, Sophia, Noah, Mattias, Amelia, and Donny, who were the center of his world and his greatest accomplishment. He is also survived by his mother, Pauline; his brother, Michael; and his nephew, Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hess.
Stephen's legacy lives on through the love he had for his children, the memories he created with family, and the impact he made on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The Hess family welcomed us as if we were part of their own always warm, kind, and caring to everyone around them. That love was a true reflection of who Steph was.
Steph had a truly unique way of connecting with people and building real, meaningful relationships. He had a gift for inspiring others to improve their habits, live healthier lives, and pursue their dreams with purpose and determination.
Steph´s smile, his joy, and the deep love he had for his children will stay with us forever. I will always treasure the memories of singing Forever Young and Hey Brother together, laughing until our sides hurt, taking countless photographs, and dreaming about those boat trips to the islands... I suppose we´ll have to wait until we meet again to share moments like those.
Please know that our hearts are with your family during this incredibly difficult time. We are sending all our love, prayers, strength, and deepest sympathy.
