Thomas Colin Pactol

Thomas Colin Pactol was born in Oahu, Hawaii on April 28, 1962. His mother Jaqueline Pactol raised Tomand his brothers Brian Pactol, Dwayne Worley, and Brad Pactol. He also had a Molokai family includingTyson Pactol, Taycia Pactol-Kaahanui, and Tirzah Pactol.
After graduating from Mililani High School, Tom joined the United States Air Force. He graduated fromthe Defense Language Institute and spent four of his eight years of service in South Korea as aninterpreter. He spent 33 years with the FAA in several positions including air traffic controller and airtraffic manager.
We called Tom “The Most Interesting Man in the World”. He had degrees and certifications inintelligence gathering, emergency medical technician, HAM radio, and viticulture. He was even anordained minister. Tom had many hobbies including, but not limited to: running, cars, finance, mentoring, onlineshopping, and preparing for the zombie apocalypse. He was not satisfied until all his hobbies were fullyaccessorized. Tom found purpose, joy, and friendship as a member of the Folsom CommunityEmergency Response Team (CERT).
Tom is survived by his wife, Monica; son, Benjamin Mason; daughter-in law, Hallie Mason; his beautifulgranddaughter, Charlotte; as well as a loving Flores/Larrieu family. He is preceded in death by his father,Donald Pactol.
To honor Tom, two Folsom Lake College Scholarships have been established in his name: Fermentation Science (wine) Emergency Medical Technician
