Thomas Roland Pepin

Thomas Roland Pepin, aged 80, of O'Brien, FL, passed away peacefully at his home on January 7, 2026. Born in Kankakee, Illinois in 1945 to Arnold William and Dorothy Piette Pepin, Thomas was a devoted family man and a proud veteran. He served his country with honor during the Vietnam War as a member of the US Navy.

In 1969, Thomas married the love of his life, Peggy, and together they built a life filled with love and family. After his military service, Thomas dedicated many years to the Kankakee Fire Department, retiring as a lieutenant. He later worked as a Union Electrician for the State of Illinois. Thomas had a passion for riding motorcycles, especially his Harley, and was known for his generosity and willingness to help those in need.

Thomas was a man of faith, a member of the Catholic Church, and he cherished his family above all. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Peggy, who passed in 2001, and his brother Ronald. He leaves behind two sons, Scott and Steven (Amanda) Pepin, as well as grandchildren Stephanie Siroki, Samantha Pepin, Erin Ciccone, Cara Bennett-Pepin, Alexis Rickrode, Aliyah Rozanski, Ariana Pepin, and six great-grandchildren.

A service to place his remains by his wife will be held at a later date. Thomas will be remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and his dedication to his community.
