THOMAS POOL Obituary

POOL, Thomas E., of Midlothian, died peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Tom was a dedicated and loyal employee of Dominion Resources for 35 years and an active leader with Boy Scout Troop 811. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Uhler Pool; daughter, Dana Corinne Pool; and son and daughter-in-law, Brian Thomas and Charlotte Hudnutt Pool. A service will be held to celebrate his life on Sunday, March 10, his 61st birthday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 2341 Winterfield Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23113. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 6431 Old Moon Terrace, Moseley, Va. 23120. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 1324 Gravity Hill Trail, Midlothian, Va. 23114.

Jennifer, just learned of Tom's passing. Pat and I have you and your family in our prayers. I really enjoyed working with Tom for two years and I shall never forget our time togehter. A nicer person is very hard to find. We wish you and your family all the best.

To Tom's family ... I just learned about Tom's death today. Even though I had not seen him in years, he was a friend when we were students at VCU. I am thinking about him tonight and thinking of all of you as you deal with his passing.
