Thomas E. Race, 85, died on Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was born on August 29, 1939, in Milwaukee to the late Edward and Olga (Pappi) Race. Thomas was united in marriage to Nannette in 1990, she precedes him in death. Thomas is survived by his children Barbra Krueger, David (Patti) Race and Daniel Race, Nannette’s sons Matthew Herman and Joseph (Jaqualyn) Herman. Further survived by his grandchildren Chad, Kyle, Madison, Sydney, Samantha and Adam, 2 great-grandsons, and siblings Patricia (Gerry), Donald, Mary (Roger), Joseph, Catherine and Paul (Terri).
Funeral service will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring St., Union Grove, WI) on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Military honors will be presented by active-duty members of the U.S. Marine Corps and local members of the American Legion.
