Thomas Rams Obituary
Of O'Hara Township, age 56, died on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Beloved son of James (deceased) and Jeanette; brother of Christine Standish (Doug) of Australia, James J. Rams (Karen) of CO, Kathy Nahum (Bob) of CA, and Kevin Rams (Veronica) of Ecuador; loving uncle of Ryan Standish, Alaina King (Harrison), Paul Standish, Courtney Rooney (Miles), Caitlin Rams, Brandon and Carsten Nahum, and Luis Alberto, Rita and Maria Cisneros. He attended high school at The Kiski School and college at West Virginia Wesleyan College with a BA. He worked at Vail Cascade Resort and Golf Course in Vail, CO, and multiple positions as mail plane agent, medical courier and shuttle driver in the Denver, CO, area before returning to Pittsburgh. Tom loved playing golf and was an avid fan of Pittsburgh professional and college sports. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and family vacationing at Wrightsville Beach, NC. Friends will be received on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at the THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., 930 Center Avenue, Blawnox, PA 15238. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Christ the King Parish, St. Edward Church, 450 Walnut Street, Blawnox, PA 15238. Everyone Please Meet at Church. Burial to remain private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Leukemia Society, the MS society, or the charity of your choice.

Tom, I remember you as a sweet, quiet little boy during our childhood on Yorkshire Drive. It is terrible that you had to leave us so soon. My sincere condolences to the Rams family and may Tom rest easy in heaven.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Tom. Tom was a fiercely loyal friend who had so many qualities that it's impossible to list them. He lived life with humor, class and dignity. I cherish our time growing up together and I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend.
