Thomas Red Bird Obituary
Thomas W. Red Bird, "Isna Wica", age 72, of Bismarck, ND (and formerly of Dupree, SD), entered the Spirit World on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center at Bismarck.
A State of Honor Viewing will be from 12-2 PM (CST), Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Administration Headquarters at Ft. Yates, ND. A wake service will later begin at 7:00 PM, at the CRST Bingo Hall at Eagle Butte, SD. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 12 at the CRST Bingo Hall with Hans Young Bird Bradley officiating. Following a luncheon, burial will take place at St. Peter's Episcopal Cemetery at Thunder Butte, SD.
Tom is survived by his wife, Doris Red Bird of Bismarck, ND; three sons, Ryan Red Bird, Thomas Bird, Jr. and Jeffry Red Bird of Bismarck, ND and one daughter, Ryanne Red Bird-Bradley, of Mandan, ND. 16 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
