Thomas P. Reedy, Sr., 77, of Duncannon, passed away on Monday July 21, 2025 at his home.

Born April 26, 1948, in Pottsville, Tom was a son of the late Elvin and Shirley (Rolland) Reedy. On April 24, 1970, he was united in marriage with Sylvia (Snyder) Reedy.

Tom served in the United States Air Force and later, following his honorable discharge, continued to serve in the Air Force Reserve for an additional 21 years prior to his retirement with the rank of Technical Sergeant. He had also been employed as a Purchasing Agent at the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg for over 20 years. Tom devoted himself to caring for his wife for many years. During his life, he enjoyed model trains and RC airplanes.

In addition to his wife, Sylvia, he is survived by his children, Angela L. (David) Hervey of Camp Hill, and, Thomas P. "Tom" Reedy, Jr. and Karen L. (Brett) Spencer all of Duncannon; five grandchildren, R.J., Madison, Jordan, Katelyn and Hailey and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Hall, Diane (John) Heim, Cindy (Rick) Weaver and Brenda (Capper) Bachman and brothers, Ronald (Maria) Reedy and Scott Reedy.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for his viewing on Wednesday July 30, 2025 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 North High Street, Duncannon, followed by his funeral service at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Keith A. Blank, officiating. A committal service with military honors will be held on Thursday July 31, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Those attending the committal service should plan to arrive at the cemetery at 1:15 P.M. and gather in the parking area located behind the Administration Building.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made to the charitable or community organization of your choice.
