Eugenia "Genie" C. Crownover, 77, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Born on May 3, 1948, in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of the late Merton Taylor and Esther (Standford) Van Namee.

Genie spent her career as an administrative assistant with P.H.E.A.A., where she was known for her reliability, kindness, and warm spirit. After her retirement, she embraced the joy of life's quieter moments - enjoying time with her family and friends, sharing stories, and making memories that will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her loving son, Michael Crownover and his wife, Erin Kohrherr, of Orangeville, Pennsylvania; her devoted daughter-in-law, Jennifer Langdon, of Austin, Texas; and her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Langdon Crownover, Garrett Langdon Crownover, Blakely Crownover, and Blair Crownover, who brought endless light and pride to her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, James B. Crownover; her dear son, Joe Crownover; infant daughter, Carol; and her brothers, John Van Namee of Nags Head, North Carolina, and Stan Van Namee of Syracuse, New York.

Genie will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, reunited with her beloved husband, where they will rest together forever.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
