June L. Crownover

June Little Crownover, age 86 of Decherd, Tennessee, passed away on August 15, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1939, to Burnis W. Little and Lillie Mae Ross Little in Decherd. June graduated from Franklin County High School, in Winchester, in 1957. She spent over fifty years in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area, before later moving back to the farm in Decherd where she was born. June worked in Chattanooga at Archer Paper Company for two years, and then over forty years at Dixie Savings Stores, Inc., where she held many office positions, including secretary and treasurer over the last twenty years. June was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, June is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Frank R. Crownover; brother, Johnny Little; sisters-in-law, Sharon Little, Margaret (Vernon) Jenkins; brother-in-law, Cecil W. (Lela) Crownover; and nephews, Jeffrey (Star) Little, and Christopher Little. June is survived by her brother, Joe Dale Little of Decherd; sister-in-law, Juanita Little of Hillsboro; nephews, Billy (Linda) Jenkins of Sherwood, Danny (Frances) Crownover of Stevenson, Alabama, Timothy (Connie) Little of Decherd; niece, Tara L. (Brent) Mathews of Murfreesboro; and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 4pm-8pm, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 1pm. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
