Thomas Rengers Obituary
Age 72, of Etna, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, Tom was the beloved husband of Sandra “Sandy” Rengers; father of Julie Prata (Jeremy), Christopher Rengers (Lisa), Robert “Bob” Rengers (Catie); son of the late Robert “Bob” and Grayce Barker Rengers; brother of Susan Borres (Paul), Robert Rengers (Judyn), Richard Rengers (Janice); grandfather of Ben, Maddy, Alexander, Ava, Ciara, Ariana. Tom served on Etna council for 11 years prior to becoming Mayor. He has served as Mayor of the borough for almost 19 years. He was an active member of All Saints Mens Club, Knights of Columbus, and various community organizations.
Celebrate Tom’s life with his family on Sunday from 12-8 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Shaler Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew Parish, All Saints Church on Monday at 10 AM. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to Smile Train, https://www.smiletrain.org, Bread of Life Food Pantry, 94 Locust St., Pittsburgh PA 15223, or St. Matthew Parish (All Saints Church), 2100 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw PA 15116.
