Thomas William Rosa, Sr (Tommy) passed away after a long struggle with cancer on August 23, 2022. Tommy was born on February 3, 1959 to Manuel and Margaret Rosa. He was a talented carpenter and Jack of all trades. He loved to listen to music and jam on his drums set. When his son Thomas was younger, he and Tommy were often together doing something fun like going down to the river to fish, having Friday night pizza or visiting Chuckie Cheese. Tommy and his stepson Tony used to practice wrestling and Tommy would attend Tony s flag football games. Tommy was also a gifted artist and had an affinity for animals, his favorite being the buffalo.
Tommy is survived by his son Thomas Rosa, Jr (Crystal), grandson Sage Rosa, granddaughter Madalyn Rosa, grandson Trevor Rosa. Stepson Anthony Decker (Antoinette) grandsons Hunter and Anthony. Siblings Steve Ohl (Stella), Thomas Ohl, Jeannie Ohl (Wayne), Robert Rosa (Elissa), Dianna Rosa, Yvette Ohl and Scott Ohl. Cousins Gloria Grohowski, Rich Grohowski and Michelle (Grohowski) Tyrone. Tommy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Tommy was predeceased by his grandson Noah Rosa, his parents Manuel & Margaret Rosa, brother Nicholas Ohl, stepbrother Daniel Ohl and stepfather Daniel Ohl.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice for their exemplary care of Tommy while he was there.
Friends and family may call at the Behe Funeral Home Inc on Saturday, September 3 from 11:00AM-12:00PM with funeral services immediately following. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
