My twin brother Tom and I were complete opposites in almost everything we did. He was the larger of the twins, first born. He was mechanically inclined and we collected bike parts in our neighborhood on garbage day. He would make bikes from parts and we learned how to fix and repair them. He moved on to cars and honed his skills at repairing generators, alternators, and starters for all makes of automobiles. I called him Doctor Tom for his ability to repair any of those items that came into shop. When the army came calling it effectively separated us from each other and we went our separate ways. He is missed by all his brothers and sisters.
