Thomas D. Sansalone

In loving memory of Thomas D. Sansalone, who peacefully passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 88. Born December 15, 1937, in Watson West Virginia, Tom was a beloved son of the late Vincent and Catherine Sansalone. A man of unwavering strength and kindness, he touched the lives of many throughout his life.
Tom was a loving husband to the late Mary L. Sansalone and the late Roberta Sansalone. He cherished his role as a father to Tom V. Sansalone, Pamela C. Sansalone and Dominic (Erin) Sansalone. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Holly (Bill) Clippard and the late John (Wendy) Anderson, Scott (Melissa) Anderson, and Bo (Rosa) Anderson. He was known as Grandpa Tom to his grandchildren and was a figure of warmth and wisdom to; Caroline (Kurtis) Rourke, Lauren, Andrew, Collin, Cameron, Cassidy, Paige, and Torin. He was a dear brother of the late Frank (Flo) Sansalone, the late John (late Henrietta) Sansalone, and the late Angela (late Lundix) Saverino. Tom's love for family extended as he held dear the memories of his brothers-in-law, Raymond Dunn and Darryl Dunn, late Vincent Dunn and late Leo Dunn. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory. Tom will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.
Beyond his family, Tom found joy in the companionship of his loyal dogs: Spot, Blacky, Snowy, Rusty, Brittle, Floyd, Fleece, Airy, and Chester, who filled his life with joyful moments and unconditional love.
To honor Tom's life a visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM - 7:00PM. A funeral service will follow at St. James Church – White Oak, 3565 Hubble rd. Cincinnati, OH 45247 on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM, where friends and family are warmly invited to gather together to pay their respects, share stories, and celebrate a life so richly lived.
