Thomas L. Satterfield

Thomas L Satterfield, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 78 at his residence in Simpsonville, SC.
Born in Greenville, MS, he was the cherished son of the late Paul and Ruth Satterfield.
In his 78 years, Thomas touched the lives of many through his kindness and dedication. He will be forever remembered for his warm smile, compassionate heart, and love for his family and friends. He found great joy while working in his yard and in traveling to the mountains and the beach. In his professional life, he was a production supervisor in the textile industry, dedicating his time and skills to Cryovac /Sealed Air.
Thomas will forever be remembered and deeply missed by his loving wife of over 60 years, Johnny Sue Satterfield; his dear daughter, Jennifer Farr and husband, Derrick; sister, Mary Baird and husband, James; and brothers, Jimmy Rice and Roger Rice. Thomas was a devoted family man, finding immense happiness in the love and support of his family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Satterfield; and sister, Patricia Smith.
A visitation will be held on Monday June 24, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
