Thomas E. Satterlee

Tom was born in Rockford, IL on May 20, 1963, son of Robert J. and Ilona L. (Ihm) Satterlee. He graduated from Boylan Catholic High School, Class of 1982. Tom married Antointte "Toni" LaRosa at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on November 25, 1989. He was a longtime member of St. Anthony and the Cathedral of St. Peter. Tom was self-employed in the asphalt and concrete business for many years. He was a member of the Venetian Club and enjoyed watching football on Sundays, especially his Green Bay Packers. Tom was a devoted husband and father. He was also a dedicated coach and mentor to his sons and the children of St. Peter's and their sports teams. Tom was a big kid at heart and always related well with children. He always had stories and jokes to make people laugh. Tom will be dearly missed.
Those left to honor Tom's memory include his loving wife, Toni Satterlee; sons, Joseph (Erin) Satterlee and Thomas Satterlee; granddaughter, Oakleigh Satterlee; parents, Robert and Ilona Satterlee; sister, Lana Satterlee-Ballweg (Mark Ballweg); brothers, Bill (Joan) Satterlee and Tony (Tanya) Satterlee; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Josephine LaRosa; sisters-in-law, Sarina LaRosa Rosa (Michael) Lobianco and Angie (Jay) Maggio. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Athur (Harriet) Satterlee and Charles (Gerda) Ihm; father-in-law, Antonino LaRosa.
