With profound sadness and shock at this unexpected loss, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Thomas M. Schumacher, on November 18, 2025. He was 53 years old.

Born in Riverside to the late James J. and Lucille Schumacher, Tom grew up in Willingboro and graduated from Willingboro High School. He later settled in Lumberton, where he was living at the time of his passing.

In his early years, Tom worked for Pinkerton Securities and later for the CVS Warehouse. Most recently, he was employed at the Burlington Stores Warehouse. Tom was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and a devoted Star Wars collector whose enthusiasm for the saga brought joy to those around him.

Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Costa, and his brother-in-law, Ed Gerhardt. He is survived by his sisters Marilyn Gerhardt of Margate and Karen Schumacher of Vincentown; his brother Jimmy Schumacher of Hainesport; brother-in-law, Ted Costa of Hainesport; seven nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also remembered by countless friends and family members and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday November 23 at 2:00 PM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
